Gems in Dawn of Titans Gems are the premium resource in the game, and can be gained through the completion of Quests. From what I played, while there's hints of gameplay that Farmville addicts may like, I think Titans is going to be divisive between fans of Zynga's other more casual works and the strategy fans, and I'm not sure if either will be happy with the combined result.
Although that Dawn of Titans Gems technology shined in the floppy-bodied physics of Clumsy Ninja, Dawn of Titans looks like being an even better showcase, charging players with expanding their kingdoms, raising armies and sending them into battle complete with the massive titan monsters that give the game its name.
NaturalMotion has designed every element of Dawn of Titans - from the trees, to the waterfalls, to the Titans, to the battles - to push the edge and create an entertainment experience that supersedes anything found today in the Action Strategy category.
On top of that, though it's possible that face-offs between huge armies with seven different unit types and multiple Titans per side are a thing, it's obviously not something players will find in Dawn of Titans until they've sunken some serious time into it. It's a serious ask to require good faith on the part of gamers that they will get everything they hoped for is they just stick it out until it's all dawn of titans gems unlocked.
Mobile games can look pretty damn incredible these days, and while my first glimpse of Dawn of Titans was obviously skewed by viewing it on an iPad Pro, this is an gorgeous looking game, not just in realising a bright fantasy world, but in doing so on a vast scale.
